During the 2009 FIRST Robotics season, New York Times Bestselling author Neal Bascomb shadowed the D'Penguineers of the DP Engineering Academy and memorialized that season in his latest book, The New Cool: A Visionary Teacher, His FIRST Robotics Team, and the Ultimate Battle of Smarts. The book chronicles the team's season from when they first received the challenge to the World Championships in Atlanta. It promises to be an inspiring read. While Amazon won't ship the book until March 2011, you can pre-order your copy today by clicking here . Congratulations to Mr. Shaeer and the DPEA! |
